    Delaware Eye Care Center is searching for an Optometric Technician for Our Team in  Dover, DE. No late evenings, no major holidays or Sundays, a robust benefits package, a team oriented working environment where you are seen, heard and respected.   Our Top Candidate will bring at least one year of ophthalmic or optometric technician experience. However, we do have a significant training program and would be able to accept candidates with medical office background as a medical assistant, scribe or patient services representative.   Delaware Eye Care Centers is dedicated to providing state-of-the-art, individually based, high quality, eye health care. Our doctors are board-certified, skilled ophthalmologists and optometrists that provide a range of services to help our patients attain the clearest vision possible. Our services cover a range of eye problems, including cataracts, glaucoma, retinal disorders, dry eye, and ocular injuries. For more information, please visit our web-page at www.delawareeye.com.   The Ophthalmic Technician I will perform a range of duties which include preparing the patient to see Ophthalmologist and/or Optometrist and conduct preliminary exam and captures medical history. In addition, the preparation of examination and treatment rooms, performing basic and routine vision screening examinations, administering eye medications, cleaning, and maintaining ophthalmic instruments and assisting physicians during minor surgical and laser procedures may be required. Travel to other locations may also be necessary to support clinical needs.
