The Ophthalmic Technician/Medical Assistant will support our Ophthalmologists by collecting data and administering treatment ordered prescribed by our Ophthalmologists.

Optometry position in Palm Springs, CA with Milauskas Eye Institute
Milauskas Eye Institute founded in 1980 is the premier ophthalmic practice in Coachella Valley located in the Palm Springs, California area is looking for a Medical Optometrist to join our team. We have offices in Rancho Mirage, Palm Desert, and La Quinta as well.
THE POSITION:
The ideal candidate will be personable, energetic, and willing to network with colleagues. Superb environment for both professional and financial growth. You will be busy instantly, as you’ll inherit a full practice from a relocating optometrist who has been with the group for almost a decade. Step right into a thriving group, with an established patient base and all the resources you need to be tremendously successful.
This position is a combination of primary care optometry (all our offices have outstanding optical dispensaries) performing routine vision exams, and medical optometry diagnosing and managing chronic disease as well as co-managing surgical cases with our top tier ophthalmologists including subspecialists in glaucoma, refractive, retina and advanced anterior segment cases using state of the art progressive technologies. The group has its own ASC as well and is comprised of 10 physicians (5 MD and 5 OD). Use the full scope of your license and provide outstanding care for your patients.
THE FINANCIAL PACKAGE:
This is a full-time employed position with a very competitive base salary plus lucrative productivity bonuses for optical and medical collections. You’ll receive a full benefits package including health, vision, dental, and life insurance as well as many other supplemental benefits and a matching 401K. The financial package also includes a $15,000 signing/relocation bonus, CME stipend, licensure fees, professional liability insurance, and paid time off.
