Responsibilities will include processing medical claims generated within the practice management software system daily. Batches will be created for each location assigned, claim edits reviewed and appropriate action taken to ensure that claims are clean prior to processing to payors.
Jopb specific taks will also include AR follow-up with insurance payors to correct denied claims including submission of appeal letters, correct claims in accordance with Correct Coding Initiatives (CCI) and all Compliance regulations and work with the clinics to gather information needed to correct and reprocess the claim. Communication of denial trends to Supervisor and Manager to help initiate training to avoid potential denials in the future.
You will work closely with team members and share knowledge of billing with others to have an overall improvement in the team’s performance.

Madison Street is an accredited ambulatory surgery center specializing in eye surgeries to include cataract, premium lenses, retinal, eyelid and cosmetic reconstructive procedures. The position of Research & Resolution Associate (RRA) is responsible for the full cycle pursuit of investigating and resolving open invoices and credits. You will conduct extensive research in multiple software platforms to resolve outstanding balances in accounts receivable. The RRA must effectively communicate and coordinate with direct co-workers, employees at branch locations, and the representatives of commercial and state agencies. You will promptly respond to escalated inquiries and requests related to open account balances. The RRA must maintain current knowledge of and adhere to relevant payer and regulatory guidelines for medical insurance claims processing and reimbursement. The position is a part of the Billing Team and will work to support the goals of the department.
