The Contact Lens Technician will assist patients with appropriate fitting and selection of specialty contact lenses. The ideal candidate must have great customer skills and pay close attention to detail.


Eyecare Services Partners will now only consider candidates who can verify prior to hire that they either have been fully vaccinated against the Covid 19 virus or have started the vaccine process by having their initial dose before starting in their new position and are committed to completing that process within 30 days of starting work. Exemptions for medical and religious concerns will be considered.  



  • Assist patient with specialty contact lens fitting, billing, claims and deposits.
  • Educate patient on proper wear and care guidelines utilizing company wearing guide.
  • Maintaining accurate and consistent consignment of all lenses (daily wear, frequent replacement lenses, color enhances, opaque, etc.).
  • Track inventory, sales, new stock, and any transfers or returns.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of contact lenses and solutions in stock. This would also include the display and merchandising of the product selection. 
  • Track expiration dates of all lenses and solutions.
  • Adhere to privacy and confidential and proprietary company policies and procedures.
  • Process contact lens orders and prepare orders for delivery.
  • Process third party claims and payments for contact lens orders.



  • Possess at least one year of previous optical experience with contact lens sales and fitting. 
  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be a well-organized, team-player with great attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate superior computer skills.
  • Highly energetic with positive attitude.
  • Must be able to walk and stand for eight hours.
  • Must be able to type or write legibly in a dimly-lit setting.
