To assist in the smooth operation of an ophthalmology practice. To perform basic, advanced and complex diagnostic tests to assist the physician; all to be handled accurately, quickly, and courteously. Must be well organized and have the ability to work in a team-oriented environment, have excellent computer skills, communicate effectively with patients, physicians and other staff members. Must be flexible in work assignments and schedule; demonstrate commitment to ongoing education and upgrading of skills. Must meet and adhere to MFEC/ESP policies and procedures, uphold to the highest ethical principles of maintaining confidentiality and other performance standards.
Perform testing procedures using various types of diagnostic equipment.
High School diploma or GED
Detail orientated, enjoy working with the public and possess exceptional customer service skills. Must become CMSS
Experience is not required, but preferred.
Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to write and type.
Must be able to communicate via phone.
Must be able to read data from and enter into the computer correctly.
