    Responsibilities

    Essential Duties

    • Provides strategic and tactical guidance on where savings can be generated.  Where instructed, directly leads and delivers operational improvements.
    • Works closely with management and senior leaders  to better understand internal/external business needs, opportunities for improvement and timing strategy.
    • Provides regular updates with key deliverable/milestones to senior leadership to ensure proper alignment with goals.
    • Attends meetings (internal/external) as a subject matter expert to report on defined opportunities, provides status updates and where appropriate directs communications.  
    • Develops contacts and relationships that can support the business strategy and provide additional sources of assistance to help drive savings and best practices.

    Core Responsibilities

    • Develops, implements, and monitors the Lean transformation activities of ESP
    • Participates in the ongoing development of the Company’s Lean strategy
    • Collaborate with operational and support leaders to identify opportunities
    • Promote the plan, do, check, act culture throughout the organization
    • Work with leadership to develop KPIs and metrics that foster data-driven decision making at all levels in the organization
    • Lead process improvement events in the field and the corporate office
    • Track value of Lean project outcomes
    • Monitor progress of planned improvement implementation to assure adherence and value recognition

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Lean process improvement, strongly prefer in the healthcare industry
    • Ability to solve advance problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations. Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions in a fast growing environment.
    • Strong project management skills
    • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
    • A partnering approach and a willingness to get hands-on in the field with field leaders
    • 50% travel to field
