    Responsibilities

    • History Taking

    • Visual Acuities

    • IOP (via applanation tonometry and tonopen)

    • Auto Refraction

    • Manual Refraction (plus and minus cyl).

    • Lensometry

    • Topography Knowledge of Ophthalmic Surgical Procedures (Cataract Surgery, LASIK, CXL, SLT, Yag Capsulotomy, iStent, Trabeculectomy, etc.)

    Qualifications

    • COA or COT preferred
    • Possess at least one year of experience in a clinical setting
    • Prefer experience as an ophthalmic scribe or technician
    • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Be a well-organized, team-player with great attention to detail
    • Demonstrate proficient computer skills
    • Highly energetic with positive attitude
    • Must be willing to travel to other offices to meet the demands of business
    • Must be able to walk and stand for eight hours
    • Must be able to type or write legibly in a dimly-lit setting
