    This position is responsible for the overall operation and financial success of a region ensuring the highest quality care and services are provided in the most efficient manner. Provides strategic leadership and direction to personnel utilizing and deploying skills, tools, critical thinking, metrics and a results oriented mentality. Responsible for cost benefit analysis, revenue enhancement, overhead expense management, process improvement and physician oversight.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead the day-to-day operations and align initiatives with the strategic vision of the organization
    • Direct, supervise and coordinate the functions and activities of all locations
    • Participate in the development of corporate goals, objectives, and policies
    • Build and maintain a talented, dedicated, and committed operations team with the depth and skills that enable the organization to effectively execute its strategic plan
    • Establish effective communication with MDs and ODs
    • Maintain compliance with government and third party payer requirements
    • Create a positive and motivating environment
    • Analyze market conditions, identify and interpret trends or deviations from standards and respond by initiating policy or procedure changes
    • Oversee Provider Relations and regional marketing efforts
    • Create and manage all facility plans, moves, and upgrades from concept to completion including establishing budgets, working with contractors and developing plans that will mitigate disruption to patient services
    • Maintain the buildings, grounds, facilities and equipment in a manner consistent with the highest standards of safety, sanitation, efficiency and appearance
    • Develop budgets, including; forecasts of revenue, workload, and requirements for personnel, space, equipment, and support services to assure financial viability and to fulfill the goals and objectives in a coordinated, effective and efficient manner. Report and interpret monthly and annual data to assure budget compliance.
    • Create dashboard and benchmarks to ensure a high degree of patient satisfaction
    • Build company image by collaborating with customers, community organizations, and employees
    • Enforce ethical business practices
    • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices, and participating in professional societies

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, nursing or related health care field – Graduate Degree preferred
    • 6 – 10+ years of management experience in health care
    • In-depth knowledge of physician practice finances, revenue cycle management, third party reimbursement, regulatory issues and compensation plan methodologies
    • Knowledge of, and experience with electronic medical record systems
    • Demonstrated track record of success in impacting and influencing senior management
    • Leadership qualities, diplomacy, discretion, ability to enforce difficult positions, excellent communication, public speaking skills and exceptional interpersonal abilities
    • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
    • Excellent internet and related search skills as well as proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc
