Dulaney Eye Institute (DEI) is a Medicare-approved, state licensed, and AAAHC accredited facility, which has performed over 100,000 surgical cases in the first 20 years.
We are looking for a CRNA to join our team part-time, 3 days a week.
CRNA privileges and responsibilities must be consistent with law and may, without limitation, include the following:
Independent practice: non-medically directed position
Preanesthetic Preparation and Evaluation of the Patient
Obtaining an appropriate health history.
Conducting an appropriate physical screening assessment.
Recommending or requesting pertinent diagnostic studies and evaluating the results.
Selecting, obtaining, ordering, and administering preanesthetic /intra operative and post-operative medications.
Documenting the preanesthetic evaluation and obtaining a comprehensive informed consent for anesthesia and related services.
General Anesthesia/ MAC/ various degrees of sedation levels
Current, active RN and CRNA license from the State of Maryland.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
Current Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support mandatory (CPR, PALS, and ACLS).
American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA)
Current TB Testing
Annual Infection Control and Blood Borne Pathogen Training
