Overview

The Front Office Manager directly supervises all front office personnel and ensures proper completion of all front office duties. Directs and coordinates the activities of the front desk, patient appointments and services. Prepares monthly reports and budget for front office department. The Front Office Manager is accountable for maintaining a professional work environment, staff supervision and administrative support.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all Front Office standard operating procedures are consistently followed in each office
  • Coordinate staff schedules
  • Oversee the hiring and training of new staff
  • Supervises workload during shifts
  • Maintains working relationships and communicates with all departments
  • Resolves patient problems quickly, efficiently, and courteously
  • Conducts regularly scheduled meetings of front office personnel
  • Ensure logging and delivery of all messages, packages, and mail in a timely and professional manner
  • Ensures employees are, at all times, attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all patients and co workers
  • Drives patient satisfaction culture

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
  • A minimum of 3 years administrative support experience
  • Must possess advanced level skills in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Fundamental knowledge of EMR and EPM
  • Working knowledge on all insurances
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent customer service, communication skills and grammar
  • Experience with NextGen system preferred
  • Ability to work as a team member
  • Well-organized with attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
