As a Clinical Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, leading a team of healthcare professionals, and maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence. 

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and supervision to clinical staff, including nurses, medical assistants, and other healthcare professionals
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies to maintain the highest standards of patient care
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of patient care services and implement improvements as necessary
  • Recruit, train, and mentor clinical staff, fostering a collaborative and patient-centered culture
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback to team members
  • Create staffing schedules and ensure adequate coverage to meet patient needs
  • Ensure efficient patient flow and optimize resources to minimize wait times and maximize patient satisfaction
  • Address patient concerns and resolve issues in a timely and compassionate manner
  • Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
  • Collect and analyze data to track clinical performance metrics and identify areas for improvement
  • Participate in regulatory and accreditation compliance activities
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in healthcare management
  • Provide training and professional development opportunities for clinical staff
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement

Qualifications

  • Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) is preferred
  • Must have at least 3-5 years of relevant experience in the management of a large technician team in an ophthalmology practice
  • Proven clinical leadership experience in a healthcare setting
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Must be willing to travel to other offices to meet the demands of the position
