Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Marketing Coordinator to support our Florida practices.

 

The ideal candidate will have healthcare or vision industry marketing experience, strong social media management skills, and a keen eye for creative design and content creation. This individual will excel in cross-functional collaboration, manage email campaigns confidently, monitor and respond to online reviews, and support the marketing needs of our East Coast ophthalmology groups, including weekly visits to referring providers and prospective partners.

 

The Marketing Coordinator will assist the marketing team in growing the practice by researching market trends, compiling consumer reports, creating campaign content (graphics, blog posts, social media), and supporting marketing events.

Responsibilities

  • Support the marketing needs of our East Coast ophthalmology groups
  • Meet with the East Coast Practice Administrators and Physicians to review updates on technology, services and to share marketing initiatives
  • Build and maintain relationships with all optometric and other referring providers
  • Visit existing referring providers and prospects weekly
  • Coordinate all continuing education events for referral sources
  • Strategize marketing initiatives with the corporate marketing team
  • Create, schedule and post social media content for our practices
  • Partner with medical staff to ensure clear communication and follow-up with referring providers
  • Collaborate with and support our Provider Relations Team with communications to referring doctors and additional marketing materials that they may require
  • Maintain a database of referral sources and referral patterns
  • Set the monitoring protocols for reviews on Yelp, Google and Facebook and build appropriate responses
  • Develop promotional and print materials in consultation with the executive committee
  • Develop and support our continuing education events

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in vision or health related marketing is highly preferred
  • BA degree in marketing, communications or related field is highly preferred
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel to other practice locations based on business needs.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to write reports and business correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from referral sources, patients, and other customers.
  • Social Media Management (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Long-form videos)
  • Creative Design Experience (examples: Canva, Adobe Premier, illustrator, inDesig
  • Management of Email Campaigns (Develop, create and deploy)
  • It is required that candidates live in or be willing to relocate near the general area that our practices serve.
