Eye Surgery Associates is searching for an energetic, patient focused, team oriented Medical Front Desk Lead for our multi-specialty ophthalmology practice in Weston, Florida. Our preferred candidates would have one or more years of medical front desk experience, preferably in an optometry/ophthalmology practice.

The Medical Front Desk Lead oversees and guides the team, ensuring smooth operations and effective collaboration. This role involves daily supervision, management, and motivation of team members. Strong communication skills are essential, as the Lead serves as the primary contact for the team. Proactive leadership and leading by example are crucial to engaging the team and achieving goals.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  •  1+ years in a medical practice
  • Proven leadership, strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish), knowledge of medical/vision insurance, experience with NextGen, Microsoft, and Clearwave
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure, strong written and verbal communication, positive interpersonal relationships, compassion, trust-building with patients, and a high-energy, positive attitude
