Previous experience as an ophthalmic technician, ophthalmology practice office manager or ABOC optician along with recruiting experience would be ideal.

Role Overview: The Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for the full recruitment cycle of both exempt and non-exempt positions both in the corporate realm as well as in our practices. This includes developing job profiles, implementing recruitment strategies, sourcing candidates through digital platforms, coordinating the interview process, offer negotiation, initiating both background and drug screen process and assisting with on-boarding paperwork. This position will recruit remotely for several large ophthalmology practices throughout the US with a special focus on the Mid-Atlantic area. This is a high volume recruiting position with 25 to 45 searches on your plate at any given time. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies for both exempt and non-exempt roles for corporate and practice level positions
  • Manage the end to end recruitment process to include job postings, candidate sourcing, resume review, distribution of qualified candidate resumes to the appropriate hiring managers, interviewing candidates, offer negotiations, background and drug screening and oversight of all pre-hire and on-boarding compliance processes
  • Manage the ATS and all internal job transfers implementing best practices and monitoring daily
  • Oversee the interview process in order to ensure timely hiring
  • Maintain a working knowledge of various corporate and practice positions 
  • Assist in managing the employee referral process
  • Track and deliver key metrics designed to measure staffing activities

Qualifications

  • BA or BS degree in a business administration/human resources or related field is preferred
  • Three years of experience in recruiting, talent management, HR, learning and development or a similar role
  • Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge of ophthalmology/optometry/ASC practice positions is highly preferred
  • Exceptional oral and written communication, interviewing and negotiation skills
  • Ability to analyze HR/recruiting data and translate insights into actionable strategies
  • Proficiency with internet based recruiting software, social media platforms and Office 365 applications to include Excel, Word, Teams
