Colorado Eye Center is searching for an energetic, patient focused, team oriented Administrative Assistant for our multi-specialty ophthalmology practice in Parker, Colorado. Our preferred candidates would have one or more years of administrative assisting or medical front desk experience, preferably in an optometry/ophthalmology practice.

As an Administrative Assistant you will be responsible for handling a variety of tasks and work supporting patients, staff, and providers in a clinic or surgery center setting.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist visitors, patients, and employees in a professional and friendly manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized office environment
  • Order and manage office supplies and equipment
  • Handle incoming and outgoing emails, phone calls, and faxes
  • Manage and distribute mail and packages
  • Update and organize databases, spreadsheets, and other documents
  • Maintain accurate records and files, both electronic and physical

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree preferred)
  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or a similar role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
  • Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
  • Previous experience in the medial field and familiarity with medical terminology
  • BLS Certification (or willingness to obtain certification)
  • Offered pay range $17.00/hr-18.00/Hr.
