Katzen Eye Group is searching for a patient focused Optometric Technician for our Lutherville office with some travel, dependent upon the needs of the business, to some of our other close in Baltimore, Md. metro office locations. Our preferred Candidates would bring optometric testing experience to the position. However, we do have a significant clinical training program and will consider training exceptional candidates from outside of the ophthalmology or optometry field.

The Optometric Technicians play a crucial role by assisting optometrists in providing eye care services to patients. Responsibilities will include conducting pre-examination tests, maintaining ophthalmic instruments, and assisting with vision tests and measurements. They may also conduct contact lens education including insertion and removal training. provide patient education on lens care, frame adjustments, and contact lens handling.
