Omni Eye Specialist is searching for an energetic, patient focused, team oriented Provider Relations Specialist for our multi-specialty ophthalmology practice in Madison, Colorado. As a Provider Relations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving relationships with our network of healthcare providers. You will act as a liaison between our organization and healthcare providers, ensuring effective communication, problem resolution, and collaboration. Your primary goal will be to foster positive relationships, address concerns, and support our mission to deliver exceptional healthcare services to our members.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate and maintain regular communication with healthcare providers to ensure they are informed about our services, policies, and updates
  • Address and resolve provider-related issues, including claims inquiries, billing disputes, and network participation matters promptly and professionally
  • Assist in contract negotiations, renewals, and amendments with healthcare providers, ensuring all agreements are accurate and up to date
  • Conduct training sessions and presentations to educate providers on our processes, protocols, and system tools
  • Collaborate with the Provider Relations Manager to identify opportunities for network expansion and recruitment of new providers
  • Collect feedback from providers and conduct surveys to assess their satisfaction levels, making recommendations for improvements
  • Maintain accurate records of all provider interactions, contracts, and communications
  • Work closely with internal departments such as claims, credentialing, and customer service to facilitate smooth provider interactions and address operational issues

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Previous experience in provider relations, healthcare contracting, or a related role preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
